I don't like mainstream pizza. It's greasy, overpriced, and boring. Making pizza at home is easy, delicious, and very budget friendly without the buckets of grease. Chicken alfredo on a pizza? Mmmmmhmmmm......
What you'll need:
Prepared pizza crust (I used Freschetta Artisan)
1-2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and cut into strips)
1 cup alfredo sauce
1/2 cup cooked mushrooms
2 green onions (sliced)
2 cups shredded Italian Cheese Blend
2 tablespoons Italian Dressing
Lawry's Garlic Salt (for seasoning the chicken and crust)
Preheat oven to 425°. Lightly spray a pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray.
1. In a skillet, heat Italian dressing on medium heat and add chicken, lightly sprinkle with garlic salt. Cook about 5 minutes on each side or until chicken is no longer pink and slightly browned. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Remove chicken and cut into strips.
2. Spread 1 cup of alfredo sauce onto prepared pizza crust.
3. Add toppings:
*Cooked mushrooms
*Cooked chicken strips
*Green onions
*Cheese
4. Sprinkle crust with garlic salt.
5. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly brown.
